Set in the heart of the Norfolk Broads, located down
a narrow winding lane is Hoveton Hall Gardens. A wonderful ten acre
plot. There are lakes with lakeside walks, woods with ancient oaks and
woodland paths.
Hoveton has a good collection of Azaleas and Rhododendrons, in addition
to an extremely well stocked colourful walled herbaceous garden. This is
entered via an unusual 'spider web' gate, and leads on to an interesting
vegetable garden.
Teas and light lunches are available as well as plants for sale. Many of
the plants for sale have been propagated from the plants that one sees
as you walk around. A place to meander or sit for a while and watch the
swans waft by.
