Set up on a hill, overlooking the village of Gt. Walsingham, this
pretty little church is of 14th century origin.
Inside its tower are three bells made in Kings Lynn between 1330 and
1350, still used today.
There are some nice hideous gargoyles
as well as a scratch
dial located on the eastern most buttress of the church’s
south aisle, at about chest height. The pew
ends feature strange animals, apostles and angels.
In a field nearby are the
foundations of a small and ancient church.
