The existing church dates from the middle or later part of the fourteenth century is in the perpendicular style. 

In the fifteenth century a handsome south porch was added. Flint flush work was used above the outer doorway filled with very large squared flints. For Norfolk or Suffolk Pubs - Click the Where to Eat Link.s 

On the western most buttress of the south aisle are some scratch dials.

Many of the fifteenth century bench ends remain a cat with a kitten in its mouth, griffin, monkey and a mermaid (to which there is a legend attached).

In the middle of the nave just east of the font is a worn ledger slab in the memory of Thomas Heath who was Robed and Murderid the 4th day of February 1635.

The most impressive memorials is to Abbot Upcher 1819 (owner of Sheringham Hall and Park).

The Honourable Charlotte Upcher wife of Abbot is also commemorated by a stained glass window in the south aisle.
