Searching for ancestors has become a lot easier since the introduction of the world wide web, there are many websites now that will assist you and some that even give helpful advice on how to go about tracing your family tree.  A number of people who have located their relatives in Norfolk have also set up websites of their own in order to track down other relatives.   

Here at Angliacoast we are continuously being contacted by people trying to track down their ancestors, unfortunately we do not have the resources to undertake these searches.  So we have put together a list of useful genealogy links in order to assist, this is not an exhaustive list but are just some of the sites that we have come across in our own research.  We welcome notification of any other Norfolk sites that people may come across in their own ancestor searches if they are not listed here.  

Also remember that sometimes just typing in a relative’s full name into a Search Engine can lead to interesting results.  Make your searches simple and remember to follow up links and you may be surprised to find out to who you relatives are and what they got up to!
