Tourism Standards exist to enable the Consumer to Compare and Evaluate Accommodation.

The UK tourist boards have in the past few years teamed up with the AA and the RAC
(UK Motoring organisations) to set up and maintain a number of standard tourism grading schemes. *

They are intended to enable people to understand the level of service and quality they can expect
for the price they are paying.
