The bijou village of Bawburgh nestles in the valley of the River Yare
just five miles from the city of Norwich.
Although it has no shops its 17th century tavern the Kings Head with its inglenook fireplaces and varied menu is certainly worth a visit. On the north side of the village is an eighteen hole golf course. There are a number of listed buildings in the village as well as a small flint church with a round Saxon tower. Its proximity to Norwich makes it a popular village for commuters. |
