Sheltering in the shadow of a Jacobean Hall is the
small village of Blickling, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside
with thickly wooded valleys. The tiny village has a smattering of pretty cottages. As well as a good watering hole where there is every incentive to stop for a meal or just a glass of something. We understand that the inn in question is supposed to be haunted but we have yet to receive details or confirmation of this statement. Fishermen come to display their patience on the banks of the large lake at Blickling in the care of the National Trust. The market town of Aylsham with all its amenities is under 2 miles down the road. |
