Little Snoring increased in size during the Second World War when a bomber airfield was established near by and this connection is commemorated in the Little Snoring Village Sign with an aeroplane rudder. The church of St. Andrew with its astonishing range of architectural styles and offset tower, sits in a slightly elevated position within the village. Its mish-mash of styles spans six centuries from Saxon to Tudor, which just makes it all the more appealing. The village has a pub and also a shop and post office. The North Norfolk coast is approximately nine miles away offering dramatic coastal scenery and a variety of attractions.
