Westleton Village is a small ancient village located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It has its own duck pond and is close to the Minsmere RSPB bird reserve and just 8 miles from the concert hall at Snape Maltings.

Westleton is a frequent winner of Suffolks Best Kept Village title. The village has a 12th century thatched church, pub, restaurant and tearoom. Lots of good walking to be enjoyed with both coastal and heath land trails.

The RSPB Reserve at Minsmere situated right on the coast has eight hides as well as lots of countryside walks, there is a visitor centre,  shop, and a tea room.  The reserve also hosts many events all centering around the pursuit of birdwatching.

Under two miles away is Dunwich, the place where much of the old town now lies beneath the sea, a result of a storm in 1286. In the small museum you can see how Dunwich used to look all those centuries ago.   Dunwich Heath is one of Suffolk's most important conservation areas with good walks and fine views of the Suffolk Coastline.
