John Ashley photography produces inexpensive digital images that can be used on websites or printed material. The copyright images can be purchased outright, or a non exclusive license can be purchased to use the images for documental, promotional or publicity purposes.

Most of the images are created digitally using an Olympus digital camera. The digital images are created with a  resolution of 2048 x 1538 Pixels, 24 bit / 16 Million colours using the jpeg file format. This results in a file size of approx 700K Bytes.

Some of the images have been taken on 35mm negative or slide film using a Pentax camera, These images have been printed and/or scanned using a Umax digital scanner.

This library is intended for website designers, developers, writers, publishers and graphics houses who require a source of inexpensive images but do not  necessarily need to own the copyright outright. This means that the high photographic creation costs can be shared by more that one client. All images are supplied as taken raw and un-cropped so that they can be sized and compressed further by the client if required.
