A Full entry is a half page advert and does not have the limitations of the basic entry. They are submitted, checked and approved by the owners. If you purchase a Full Entry then you are sponsoring this website by paying for an advertisement.

Can I advertise my Accommodation with a Ruby full entry?
Yes. This is the least expensive option if you want to advertise accommodation on our websites.

Do I need to have an email account to have a Ruby full entry?
No, many of our advertisers don't have email. We will contact you by phone or letter. Some of our customers prefer to speak with people before they offer accommodation. We understand this, but it will put off some of the busy visitors who are pressed for time.

Do I need a website to have a Ruby full entry?
No, some of our advertisers only use the phone. However, if you don't have a website to enable the visitors to see what you are offering quickly and easily, then you should consider an Emerald or Sapphire Entry.

Will the Ruby full  entry link to my existing website?
Yes. We only link to independent websites (NOT pages within other sites / directories) All accommodation on the linked website site must be owned by an individual or company. We do not link to other directories or competitor websites offering accommodation with different owners.

We also turn on the Sponsor Flag, so that visitors know that you are helping to keep this site free for them, this improves the number of times your advert will be read. Our visitors can also jump to your website directly from the main index pages. For a visitor checking out East Anglian services, this is much easier than using a search engine, which is full of clutter and unhelpful sites and suffers from a lack of clarity.

A Sponsored / Direct Link is what we used to call our Ruby full entry product. It still offers everything a sponsored / direct link used to offer, but some people found the term confusing so we changed it.

Yes - We show all contact telephone numbers.

Do I have to Pay Before the Direct Link is added to the Site.
Yes, we used to make the link work immediately, but we had a few customers who ordered a link and then never paid for it. At this LOW price we really cant afford to chase bad debts. So we have had to change our policy. As with many things a few have spoilt if for the many, unfortunately we have no way of knowing which customers are genuine, and some people think that if its on the internet it does not matter if you don't pay. You know who you are!

Can I have a picture on my  Direct Link?
Yes, But we only support a single thumbnail picture (160 by 120 Pixels) using the .jpeg file format, we have a Emerald Web Page product that includes bigger pictures and a Sapphire Fixed website with a full gallery if you want to promote your establishment with lots of pictures.

Is a Ruby Full Entry Cost Effective?
We believe it is, that's why we price it at only £30.00 (Some of our competitors charge twice as much and they don't have twice as many visitors than us). We keep records of how many visitors we send to you, and by looking at the historical statistics, we know that an average establishment pays less than 5 pence per lead, and the most popular organisations pay less than 1 pence per lead. 

If you consider that our visitors are already interested in visiting the area each lead is qualified and valuable, you are not paying for random clicks. The alternative is to place Google ads on our website, you will only pay per click but each click may cost you more than 5 pence - The choice is yours. 

Why is there a banner advert at the top of every standard entry?
Most of the pages on this site have a banner advertisement of one sort or another. A few promote our sales, a few are used to generate revenue (which helps keep this site free) but mostly they are used in an exchange system.

This exchange system means that this site is advertised on thousands of other sites, which is why it has so many genuine visitors. We know they are genuine because 98% take the time to look around, they don't just click in and click out again.

What happens if my email account or telephone number changes?

What if I don’t like the end result? 
If you want an entry removed from this site, log on to the owners page with your security password and use entry maintenance form to request removal.

I have forgotten my Account code!
Click on the owners link on your advert and it will be displayed. Click here to look it up by name.

I have forgotten my owners password!
Click on the owners link on your advert and request a reminder. It will be emailed to you. It is ALWAYS emailed to the email account associated with the account code for security reasons.

I did not get the password reminder when I requested one!
This is normally because you have changed your email address and have not told us, so we sent it to the last email address you provided. It could also be because your spam, bulk email blocker or other security software is blocking legitimate emails, please ensure you understand how your incoming email system works. We know we send them, but just like convention postal mail, sending is no guarantee of delivery. 

How long does it take before my Full Entry ( Sponsored / Direct Link)  works?
Normally this is done within 7 days of payment being received. 

What will happen when my advert expires in a years time?
About a month before your advert expires we will send you a renewal notice, we will send at least three of these by email before your advert expires and one in the post. If you renew your advert before it expires it will cost less to renew it. If you fail to pay before the renewal date your advert will removed from the website.
