Availability

Please note that we normally request a minimum stay of 2 nights on all bookings between April and October and reserve the right to determine whether to accept a booking for one night only during this period when a £5.00 supplement per booking may apply.
 
Termination Policy

Bridge House reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individuals stay where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others. (Please note that non-compliance with our strict Non
Smoking policy would constitute termination.) In such circumstances any outstanding accounts must be settled and no refunds will be made.

Non Smoking

All guest rooms and public rooms are strictly non-smoking areas. Guests who fail to comply with this will be asked to leave. Ashtrays are provided in the garden.

Payment

Deposits can be paid by cheque or credit / debit card. Cards will only be charged in the event of ‘No Show’ or if wilful damage is caused by the holder or a member of their party.
We welcome payment by cash, cheque, or debit card. Should you need to settle your account by credit card it will be necessary for us to add a surcharge of 3% of the full cost of your stay.
 
Cancellation

Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are subject to the first nights B&B cost.
Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will be charged the full cost of the reservation.
In all instances notice of cancellation must be in writing and will be effective from the date of receipt by Bridge House.

Arrival & Departure

In order to prepare the rooms, Guests are asked to arrive after 4pm and depart by 10.15am.
 
Damage

Guests are welcome to consume wine in the bedrooms but in the event of spoilage to furnishings and bedding, will be liable to either professional cleaning cost or of replacement if the former is unsuccessful or inappropriate.

General

Bridge House is an historic building and the Barn Conversion is of timber construction. Therefore, smoking, candles or other naked flames are simply not permitted anywhere within the buildings.
If you have special dietary requirements or mobility difficulties, please let us know before your arrival.
Well behaved children over 8 years old are welcome.
While we love animals we are sorry that we cannot accommodate guests’ pets.
