Future Plans
• Inva-Lift Stair Riser planned for 5 step access to RAF Coltishall Rooms.
Costed at £12,000 and grants are now (APR 08) being sought. As this
installation will require structural work, permissions must be obtained as the
building is listed Grade II*.
• An alternative "Clip-on" stair riser for wheelchairs has been
demonstrated for the 10 Cold War Room steps.
Cost is £4,000 but it is not suitable for wheelchairs with folding or
removable armrests - some 90% of those visiting. Further study is to be
conducted (May 08)
